HISTORY

The early beginnings

Solar Fabrik was founded in 1996 by the solar pioneer Georg Salvamoser and is today one of the most traditional photovoltaic companies in Germany. The pioneer drove the development of German solar modules and was one of the most important person of this industry.

With the takeover by Christian Laibacher in 2016, the brand was filled with new content and was given a new lease of life.
Since then, Solar Fabrik has been a family-run company and benefits from more than 25 years of experience in the production of photovoltaic modules according to German quality standards.

Company Location

In March 2021, Solar Fabrik expanded and moved from Wiesen to its new company headquarter in Laufach on the beautiful Bavarian Main.

The new company location enables an increase in capacity and a perfect assurance of product quality through an integrated laboratory.

Our excellent delivery capacity is supported by high storage capacities at the new location in Laufach as well as Rotterdam and Munich.

We guarantee our quality assurance through our own test laboratory and independent tests via Fraunhofer Institute or TÜV.

Solar Fabrik modules in “Classic Quality” have a 15-year product guarantee and the Made in Germany N-Type module in “Premium Quality” has a 20-year guarantee.
The innovative double glass module in “First Class Quality” has a product guarantee of 30 years.
