Made in Germany is coming!

Construction of our Factory One in Hösbach near Aschaffenburg officially began on May 7, 2024.
An approx. 3,500 m² production hall for the manufacture of solar modules will be built on an area of 5,672 m² by the end of the year.
Solar Fabrik is thus not only investing in its home location in Spessart, but has also been starting its own production in Germany again since 2018.

Around 100 guests attended the ground-breaking ceremony for the new Solar Factory One in Hösbach.
Among them were Andrea Lindholz, CSU/MdB, Andreas Zenglein, CSU/Deputy District Administrator of Aschaffenburg, and Harald Sauer, SPD/2nd District Administrator of Aschaffenburg.
District Administrator of Aschaffenburg, and Harald Sauer, SPD/2.
Mayor of Hösbach.
“While the established companies are shutting down their production in Germany, we believe in Germany as a business location. Solar modules manufactured in Germany have a market and we are now tapping into it,” says Solar Fabrik CEO and owner Christian Laibacher.
We are relying on N-TYPE TOPCon and heterojunction technology.
Factory One will have an annual production capacity of 300 megawatts.

Solar Fabrik is also planning a phased plan for German production.
This will allow us to act in line with market demand and adjust production volumes accordingly.
Depending on the market situation, production can be increased to 1 gigawatt.
We have secured the first investment of around 6 million euros from our own funds.
Solar Fabrik sees now as the time to act and is securing its entry without state subsidies.
In each of the last two years, Solar Fabrik has produced around 750 megawatts of solar modules in Asia.
This volume will continue to be produced there.
We are looking forward to a positive “powerful” future and are planning to produce over 1 gigawatt by 2025.

We ended this important evening together in good company and celebrated the launch of our Solar Factory One.
We are excited and look forward to all the next steps.
