Christmas fundraising campaign
Especially at Christmas time, we want to do good and put a smile on many children’s faces, so Solar Fabrik donated €10,000 to heart projects.
With great anticipation, we welcomed Mrs Jessl from the children’s hospital in Gelnhausen. There, children with chronic illnesses are treated and cared for until they recover.
We were also looking forward to meeting Mrs Rocha from One Day e. V.. The aim is to help people, mainly from Africa, to develop healthily and thus to have a self-determined future.
We were also very happy about the visit of Mrs. Fleckenstein. She is part of the parents’ initiative Leukaemia- und Tumorkranker Kinder Würzburg e. V. They support children in the healing process and help the families to cope with the emotional stress.

Fire protection class A for the Mono S3 Innovation
The Mono S3 Innovation double-glazed module has achieved the best possible fire protection class A in Germany. For this, the Mono S3 Innovation module was subjected to a two-stage test. Thanks to the fire protection class A, it is now possible with our module to significantly reduce the distances to fire protection walls or adjacent terraced house roofs.

We are there – Intersolar Restart 2021!

From 06 to 08 October 2021, we will be represented with our own stand at Intersolar Europe as part of The smarter E Europe Restart in Munich.
Despite the current challenging situation, we trust in the hygiene concept of Messe München and support a safe trade fair visit by investing in the largest stand area to date. In this way, we are implementing a comprehensive hygiene and distance concept to protect the health of trade fair participants.
We look forward to seeing you and to a direct exchange at the largest trade fair in the solar industry!

We can proudly say that the Solar Factory is very agile in the areas of objectives, strategy, organisation design, work design, minimum organisation, minimum individual and leadership. New series Mono S4
The Mono S4 module with a 10-busbar technology and a max. system voltage of 1500 V is monocrystalline and available in the power classes 395W and 400W. The special feature of the new series is that the Mono S4 achieves 20W more power with only a minimally larger surface area of the module.
This is made possible by the use of larger cells. The reason for different wattage classes of modules is usually the different size of the module and not, as is often assumed, possible technological leaps.

Halfcut technology
Halfcut solar modules are characterised by the use of advanced half-cells and the separate interconnection of the individual half-cells in two separate current paths. Here, the half-cells of a segment are connected in series in 6 strings and connected centrally by a parallel circuit. This is why they have enormous advantages under cloudy skies, where half-cell modules can be expected to produce 50% power. The half of the module that is not shaded continues to generate yields even with partial shading due to the clever design.

The independent market research institute EUPD continuously surveys installers of photovoltaic systems in Germany about their experiences with suppliers. In 2020, Solar Fabrik was awarded the coveted TOP BRAND PV seal for the first time. “This award makes us proud and is an incentive at the same time, because this seal is awarded by the positive perception of Solar Fabrik by our customers. For them, we give our best day after day,” says Christian Laibacher, Managing Director and owner of Solar Fabrik. Especially the criteria unaided brand awareness, recommendation and distribution were praised by Solar Fabrik customers. The entire Solar Fabrik team, especially Christian Laibacher, is pleased about this positive feedback.

A3 motorway project
An unprecedented project was created in 2019 on the A3 motorway between the Aschaffenburg and Aschaffenburg/Ost junctions. Here, a 900m long and 3m high noise barrier was built, which is equipped with 600 photovoltaic modules from Solar Fabrik. The modules of the P series with 280W were specially manufactured for this project and were produced with special, so-called Albarino glass, which reduces glare from solar radiation many times over.

Acquisition of Solar Fabrik
The Christian Laibacher group of companies from Wiesen (near Aschaffenburg) acquired production line 3 of the former Solar-Fabrik AG in Freiburg in May. Solar-Fabrik AG had to file for insolvency last year. It is planned to restart production at the current Freiburg location as early as this June. In the medium term, the entire production will be relocated to the Aschaffenburg area. Some employees from Freiburg have already signalled that they will move production to Aschaffenburg. In addition, about 20 new jobs will be created here.
